We're way behind on our blog...these pics were from June! Oh well, at least its pics of us gorgeous pups, right? ;) In case you forgot us...in order of appearance... Killer, Nebo, Skya, and Keva
You may have noticed we've disappeared from the blog for a while...well mom was a little busy planning this... Nebo was there too :) And a couple more huskies ;) No we live in a different house with Killer too, lots of fun! We have plenty of pictures to share it just may take a while to get them up here. Just wanted to let you know we still are here and still look at your blogs too when we get the chance. :) One more pic...from a hike a while ago...have ones with Killer in it too but I don't have it on this computer
Sorry we're a little late on these, here are more snow pics! Skya the Siberian jumping bean She likes to follow me around everywhere in the yard so to get a good picture of her from a distance I have to have to sit and stay...well this is what you get when you say "okay!" Nebo and Keva felt like they were missing out on some fun so they volunteered to sit and stay too "I'll go if you go.." This is our new member to the family, Killer! He came with my fiance, and we're happy to have them both ;) Can't you feel the love? ;)
Here are some more pictures from various winter adventures. We went snowshoeing for the first time, which was great, we love dragging humans through snowy landscapes. Mom said we should have had a sled instead of snowshoes for how much we were pulling.
Look at how helpful we are! Here we are dogsledding (we've only been able to go once this year, not enough snow on our trail) Skya and Keva at a park in the canyon More snow pics coming later!
So we're huskies...yeah, we kind of like snow. Here's some pics of two of us (Skya stayed home, she's too shy with strangers) from a photoshoot we helped out with. You can see the photoshoot here and here.
Since Skya didn't get to go here's a couple snow pics of her too
Woo everyone, mom has been reading this book and she wanted us to let all of you know about it! It's called DOGTOWN: Tales of Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Redemption. If you have ever watched the hit National Geographic show "Dogtown" this is the companion book to it. It is based on the Dogtown area of the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. It tells of dogs that have been rescued and rehabilitated as well as some personal stories of the dogtown caregivers. If you've heard of the Michael Vick dogs there's a story about Georgia, a pit bull who was one of the Vick dogs taken to Best Friends where she's given a second chance. Our mom actually volunteered at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary last summer and said it was a great experience. Anyway, if you're looking for a Christmas gift for a dog lover or just a good book to read check it out, its available wherever books are sold, and it's husky approved. ;)
